there's a bigger issue here than unusual animals-it's about the way we perceive and organize our reality.

At a certain point, we cease to order our experiences as events along a chronological timeline, in 3 dimensions. Our awareness starts to collates our sensory perceptual information by intensity and meaning, its more efficient and allows for greater depth of awareness.

It's no wonder people in the woods are having these experiences...they go to the woods because they want an encounter with nature. It could be argued... something greater than the daily grind of boring survival, with all the skill and challenge taken out of it. Work and then the grocery store.

We seek to engage our senses, and when we encounter extra information, we organize it by intensity not linearly, because it doesn't fit in with the usual "SSDD same shit different day."

Those who are comfortable having everything done for them by others are like children, and do not seek challenges they feel their dependency skillset is not up to resolving. they are not ready to think at their fullest on their own yet, so they say no to the paranormal.

Its everywhere, UFOS, ghosts, bigfoot, little anomalies, moved objects, precognition, telepathy, changed timelines...they cannot handle themselves in this milieu, so they block it out and run to the security of a euclidean mindset which has simple known rules determining events within which they can navigate.

The self actualized human being does not seek order, it seeks novelty and organizes seeming random occurrences which don't fit in in terms of prior memorized experience. So for the open human, there is no time, or space, just experience. A dynamic unfolding of experience shared with others.

Not like puppies sharing a cozy safe experience being suckled in a playpen, but like dogs roaming the wilds free. Like an adult, figuring things out on their own, their universe safe with the belief they create their own reality, and it responds and reflects resonantly and sympathetically in harmony to them.

They believe their universe supports them and conspires to make their lives a success, that they themselves are a part of nature no less a part than everything else they encounter.
