User ID: 79140629 United States 05/07/2022 11:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Horse racing is the typical arrogance of humanity to serve their parasitic thrills at the expense of another life form. Horses are so abused at such a young age to entertain these arrogant humans, then thrown away like trash. Hauled off to slaughter houses when they can no longer fulfill their jollies, at 2 and 3 years old. Fking cruelty in its finest form. Humans need to have a bit and jockey put on their backs at two years old, driven so hard their knees, that are still developing, be blown out, then shoved in a huge big rig truck and thrown away. User ID: 76388104 United States 05/07/2022 12:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Looking forward to seeing pics of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter. Her Dad always takes her to this event. Bet she has grown so much since last year. That paternity lawsuit was crazy! Remember when Anna Nicole's manager insisted the baby was his? Then after the DNA test was done, he admitted he never even had sex with her. I think he was gay. He was a nutcase. It looks like Larry is one of the world's best dads for that girl. She's lucky. Unfortunately, they're forecasting rain at Churchill Downs with 20 mph wind gusts. Weather Channel just said tailwinds at the start and headwinds heading to the finish line. TAIBA Odds: 12-1 Owner: Zedan Racing Stables, owned by Saudi Arabia businessman Amr F. Zedan, who had Medina Spirit in 2021 Derby. Medina Spirit was the Thoroughbred who finished first in the 2021 Kentucky Derby before being disqualified (to allow Saudi Horse Mandaloun owned by Prince Khalid bin Abdullah of Saudi Arabia to win). Prince Khalid bin Abdullah died January 2021. Medina Spirit died at Santa Anita December 2021. The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission made the final decision to disqualify Medina Spirit on February 21, 2022. Another good choice - sired by Gun Runner out of Needmore Flattery. Had to get my horse breeding lingo ironed out! Last Edited by Humanitarianlike on 05/07/2022 12:26 PM |

He said Crown Pride is Japanese and I liked that. We'll see, it's all in good fun. Really appreciate you waking me from my racing slumber. I used to kind of follow the sport because my old friend was a big handicapper. And we used to get some marginally decent coverage, but now it's just abysmal. |

Quoting: Odin'Son White Abarrio is a Darn good-looking horse both ways. But, I have him coming in third behind Cyberknife to win, and Epicenter second. Fourth might be the dubious Zandon. I don't get the love. |

He could win or do well, and I left him out of my list. |

I'm at home at one end of spectrum to the other and love rodeos, too. Had the distinct pleasure of knowing an exact carbon copy of his kin, Secretariat. Owners had high hopes but having horses is a pricey thing. And thought struggles against the results, trying to avoid those unpleasant results while keeping on with that way of thinking. I don't get the love. WA is gorgeous, and the backstory has all the makings of a star, something about em, a certain genasaqua. Zandon just exudes a brute strength the others don't seem to have, to me anyway. Epicenter did strike my fancy as well. |

User ID: 82811798 United States 05/07/2022 12:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Am lifting my mint julep high for Barber Road today. Got NC ties and this horse has a lotta' heart. Quoting: Deplorable Zenobia Dear Zenobia, The Derby is a family tradition but um, that has got to be the ugliest darn horse I ever saw run i9n a Derby. ( raisin my mint julip and hoping it wins too!) Yeah, not the looker w/ long odds. If I was a gamblin' soul, would throw something on this horse because bless his heart, he might be ugly but it's what's under the hood (in this case, above the hooves) that matters. AND...he's a mudder! His stock his just risen considerably in my book. My first picks were for a fast dry track. I didn't even know it was raining colts and fillys there today until moments ago. |

User ID: 82811798 United States 05/07/2022 01:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That's the scariest conditions w/ a track like that. Seen too many tragedies, breaks my heart to see. But yeah, if he's at home flinging mud while runnin' and the track is wet, even better. May the patron saint of horse, St. Eligius, favor the bold and brave animals.
