Opinions Please

My friend's mother resides in a care home (she has advanced Alzheimer) and they abruptly closed with no warning due to an "outbreak of flu." This was just a few days before Mother's Day. The administrator was unavailable for calls. The staff knew nothing more than that. I mean, this doesn't sit right for obvious reasons but the flu? My friend's mother is perfectly fine as far as her health; no flu or anything. Her aunt resides in the same facility and she's fine as well. Any ideas? Oh, and the residents are all still doing the usual; activities, going to the salon for their hair and nails, meals.
