The regular weekly lotteries here in Canada called "6/49" and LottoMax are outright fraud.

There are no weekly winners, is just actors paid to pretend.

Think about it. There are 3 multi-million dollar lotteries EVERY WEEK in Canada, 52 weeks per year, for decades.

I did 2 things:

1: I manually tracked the 6/49 lotto winning numbers for 5 years. I ran a very successful lotto pool with my data.

The 6/49 winning numbers ARE NOT RANDOM. There are certain numbers that draw WAY more often than others. 34 and 43 are by far the most common; they're drawn AT LEAST 4 TIMES MORE OFTEN THAN THE AVERAGE DRAW RATE OF ANY OTHER NUMBER. I have no idea why.

2: after a few years of this, I discovered that you could buy a book with the previous lotto numbers in it. Lol. I bought the book and compared with my data. THEY DID NOT MATCH. THE ANOMALOUS 34 AND 43 RESULTS ARE NOT PRESENT IN THE BOOK I PURCHASED.
So the publicly available record has the previous lotto numbers altered to disguise the non-randomness.

I fully believe the lottery is a fraud. That being said, I personally know someone who DID win 17 million in the 6/49 lottery. He turned into a total dickhead.

Buy holiday tickets whenever there is a holiday, they tend to have higher odds of winning because they are given as gifts.

Higher priced tickets often return at least a free ticket more often...they want you to spend more money. Buying $1-2 tickets are for the peasants, so they rarely give winnings.

My observations.

If you play lotteries, go for the smaller games daily3-4-5-derby...much more of a chance winning something. All the big lotteries need you getting the extra number + at least 3 to win anything substantial.

Yep. I used to win all the time when I lived in California. Then lost on every single ticket from other states. Then I tried them several times in this country and still no wins. I haven’t spent a dime on them in a couple years.
