Ferdinand Marcos Jr , son of the dictator, will be Philippines president

I expect to see mandates and martial law in a short amount of time.

Sad, because this generation is so for him and has forgotten the sins of his father.

During the fathers reign the country was rich beyond comprehension. Old debts were paid off to the country, some lost treasures were found and while much of the money was unaccounted for it did make the country incredibly prosperous for a few years.

The current president ran on bringing that era back, as did the son and it's a winning stance to take... but it's not possible because the money is not there.

Duterte borrowed so much in the last few years, and it was hidden within the pandemic, but collectors will want their money soon.
