It looks like that large boulder blew out of that opening. My guess is a geological event. The whole rock face is cracked too. Something went bang in the Martian underground.

Just because i can't prove anything, doesn't mean the image is real. I don't have to prove anything. Images can be manipulated, that is a fact. And thus you cannot trust images 100%.

For those of you who think you can just "intuit" whether a particular space picture is fake or not, let me ask you, does it "look like" the clouds are moving relative to Earth's surface in this time lapse from the same day?

Can you just "eyeball it" and correctly determine whether those clouds are moving or not? Be honest, do you think the clouds are moving there? And how did you come to your conclusion?

Admitting you can't provide any contradictory evidence, good, that's a start. The evidence stands then.

Now compare the size of earth (taken from the "surface" of the moon from the Apollo landings)...They screwed up as it's barely the size of a thumbnail. This image is trying to show what the Earth would look like PROPERLY scaled to the moon...Too bad the Apollo clowns didn't think that through when they slap-dicked that tiny earthen image in their background. LMAO!

I already did. The size was consistent with the expected angular size given the size of the rover's antenna panels in the pic. I posted about this years ago, it will take me some time to find my post with the measurements.

Just showed it to another family member immediately said "it looks very fake."

It's that black edge to the Moon that's the giveaway. Clearly the Moon was badly cropped out and merged with the image of the "globe" Earth.
