They are a bit like the nerves of the world.

Going down to the lake to look at the trees sounds very wonderful.

When i am going through a hard time, i try to find something beautiful to concentrate on for a few minutes... So many times it's a tree.

Sometimes a little animal, a bird, a flower, the sky. It gives you a mental break even if only for a short time.

Years ago, we had a little more protection. It's harder now.

Happy birthday, fellow empath! The world is chaotic and there is no end in sight, unfortunately. People like you and I have been forced to struggle with not only our own emotions, but also to attempt to untangle them from outside sources of intense emotional energy. We live completely exhausted because of the effort we must put in just so that we can stay sane.

I wish I had a more hopeful message for you. I guess there is some positive to this. We have a deeper understanding of those around us because of our empathic ability. That makes a big difference in life (I think so, at least!).

I call what I have vibes. I managed to turn them off mostly. But, that was some years ago.

I don't know if you and I even have the same thing. I don't know if what i did was a good idea or not, or if it is possible now.

Things have changed. You were just a child at the turn of the century, but I was an adult.

Just existing feels different now than it did then.

The most major change happened pretty quickly actually, i posted about it here at the time (lol, so glp was a thing when this happened) other people could tell, not just me.
