The brain is a holistic machine that is capable of wondrous things.
But, we are born with filters.
We have to learn and develop how to see through those filters.

What are you searching for?

I'm not sure really anymore. I guess that question is my answer?

Sometimes we need to stop the search and just get on with enjoy the now, the moment.
It is more precious than you think. No one last forever.

This is a weird question; even for me...

Why me?

This is weird because everything is weird. This question is a lot less about my own existential issues, of which there are many and more about the perception of the existential issues.

Is everyone else questioning their existential issues? and How do other people perceive them? and
Why are they existential issues?

Is life on Earth really just a type of game to be played and then ended? Only to be restarted like some sort of open ended RPG where someone or something plays as us or watches us play SimEarth? Like a person watching someone play a video game on Youtube?

Who or what is the player and how do we know we're successfully playing the SimEarth game? Without any perception of any sort of type of reward other than a type of emotional response triggering some sort of emotion?

Bertrand Russell mentioned it in his "The problems of philosophy" book; that all we are is sense data with subjective emotionally charged perceptual experience and like computers we're easily programmed by both positive and negative emotional sensations.

I think we're bots, going around a perceived 3D fabricated space like a Sim from The Sims and someone is definitely removing the ladder to the pool!

For once I don't think I'm the only bot, I think we're all bots.

Why is it that ones true destiny is usually fulfilled by trying to avoid it?

You ask a very good question, one that I cannot answer, but it is a question that runs through my mind each day.

I personally do believe we are mingling in our daily lives amongst bots as you put it, and it sure does feel like a game. If you realise this, then you are not a bot!

The last two years only served to highlight this awareness of thought, and the bots became easier to spot to anyone who is aware of their surroundings.
Good to know I am not alone with this feeling.

I don't know if it is a test or if we are under some dreadful control.

There is a saying that 'if the journey is too hard then you are taking the wrong path' like nature is guiding you to take another road.

I suppose one has to listen to ones inner feelings. It will truly tell you if you ask.

Sometimes it is as simple as asking. The answers may be given in your dream when you're sleeping as that is an easy way for nature and less disturbing for us. But answers can be given/shown during your waking hours too.

You know when thoughts come into our minds but we are too busy to listen.
Rushing around in our waking hours doing shopping, family stuff or whatever it may be, we can be too busy and distracted to listen to the fragile messages that nature is guiding us with.
I myself am guilty of missing these gentle messages, but they do surface at some stage.

But goals and attainments do not come easy, if you want something go for it!
