What real doctor says FORMALIN incorrectly? Dr. Jane called it FORMUUULIN. That was weird.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46067722 I learned a long time ago that sometimes the smartest people say the dumbest things. After two decades of typing pathology reports and after having worked in the pathology lab, hearing her say formalin like that felt like nails on a chalkboard to me. However, it doesn't negate the rest of her knowledge at all. Believe it or not, these morons exist. They are highly educated and very intelligent. They just, for whatever reason I cannot discern, choose to say things incorrectly. I know. It's weird. As for the content of the video, I'm going to have to call BS. Formalin is a fixative, which means there could not possibly be any growth of any living tissue. The key word phrase here is " living tissue." The only possible way that fibrous clot could grow is artificially, which means by mechanical means (in other words, nanomachines). Also, I have never seen a blood clot with fibrous tissue like that. It almost looks like an umbilical cord. How's that for a freaky Friday evening? The mind wanders....
