I don't know when I woke up to it but it feels like it's been about all my life that I've hated the idea of pets and held resentment towards people who keep them.

Pets are nothing but emotional slaves - a slave kept for amusement or to not feel lonely.

If you have an animal, it should be for work and nothing else, not "companionship" and not for your emotions.

Bet you didn't watch the documentary, did you?

Do you have any idea how disgusting the domestication of pets is? Have you seen the torture and suffering with your own two eyes? Do you realize that supporting this industry your indirectly condoning it? Do you realize how disgusting commercial pet food is?

I guess you're special, too.

Earthlings made me go vegan over 10 years ago, overnight. Sure I wasn't perfect, but I always knew that I was to go 100% vegan, and it took about a month to do it. I knew it was the right thing to do and I felt better about myself that I'm not contributing to the mass murder of billions of animals each year.

People are weak and will not watch something which would contradict their entire belief system. It's easy to watch 9/11 documentaries and other truth docs that require no action.

Earthlings unfortunately or fortunately makes you question your actions and will ultimately change your life...for the better. People are lazy hence the backlash towards a vegan lifestyle.

Thanks OP for posting!!! Very rare to see the truth of our diets/lifestyle in a forum like this!
