First, you need to look up child mortality before the age of 5. And it did not improve until after the 1950s. Folks didn’t die young, it was the child deaths that skew the life averages. Second, for all of you screaming that it takes a village. Where the fuck did you ever participate in a community life or help others that don’t look like you? Fucking ignorance. You actually believe that the Gerber's food company reduced child mortality to such an extent that it made possible a population of billions? I don't think so. They don't feed their babies Gerber's specialized hypoallergenic formula in Africa, or India, or Peru, but somehow their population is expanding anyway. |
