It’s a FLOWER Blood moon. I’m building a fire in the morning. Lebanon Tennessee just east of Cedars of Lebanon for that Ancient Sumerian sort of feel.

For my son Gilgamesh who is the Epic of Antiquity (relates directly to this particular full moon).

The full eclipse is 1 hour and 25 minutes, the longest prime time lunar eclipse on the west coast this century.

Nice 'summer' eclipse with the ecliptic low on the horizon so the eclipsing moon sits low on the horizon as well.
We've got rain forecast which is a shame as I can see most lunar eclipses through the south windows of my living room.
