Hold on fellow believers. The road is rocky. The weather is stormy. The light is dim. Negativity is creeping in. Fear even.

God Bless. Thank you.
Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America :

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things
that people in other countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Wonderfully put and oh so needed. If only it didn’t take so many bruises, scars, broken bones, and lost faith before we are old enough to understand what’s really important in life. If we give up, we’ve lost the race; if we fight on again and again, we never have to admit defeat, and our rebirth is just over the next hill. Either we find what we are looking for, or we die trying in pursuit of the greatest story ever told, the riddle of life.

As always, so much wisdom . Wow.

It’s hard for me to take compliments. But thank you. I assure you this thread was not planned lol.

I tell others don’t be so hard on yourself, and don’t keep a heavy burden , yet I used to be very hard on myself and hold onto burden, and even now sometimes I put unrealistic expectations on my life and hold onto unnecessary burden. For years I held onto all this pressure and worry. But lately God has been easing this burden. And I learned what his peace is. And I was able to let go. And it was so freeing . Yes I still fall down and sin, but it doesn’t have power over me anymore. It doesn’t define me. The only power over me is Jesus Christ, and he defines me in him. And I’m happy with that !

Well said!

We have been conditioned to expect a perfect life in health and wealth, and when we don't we get frustrated and envious of those that do.

So what's the solution? First, we must understand that whatever happens in our life is never random, coincidental, lucky, or unlucky. Every adversity we encounter has lessons embedded for our spiritual growth.

The first reaction to any adversity will always come from the ego, and so we will blame, complain, and get angry not knowing why that is happening to us. And in our confusion we sometimes start to develop hatred for those who seem to have a better life than us, further pulling us into a vicious downward spiral of discontent.

Then it is good to step back and take a breather from the drama. Hopefully a short break from the drama will allow us to see that discontentment stems from a lack of gratitude. Could that be the lesson we are to learn?

Having gratitude is a huge part of our spiritual growth to love and the shedding of our egoic instincts. Being grateful brings more inner peace and calm because we won't get our buttons pressed so easily.

Those who are called awakened and enlightened individuals run into adversities just like the rest of us. Difference is they don't let the encounters pull them into despair, and being further along on the spiritual path they have a greater understanding of why things unfold the way they do.

Good to keep in mind we are not here randomly. We are here for an adventure of learning to grow up spiritually to greater wisdom and maturity. And through that long process, we assist with bringing love and light to this young dark world. To bring paradise here, not to escape from here to paradise.

And as we move further along the spiritual path to love, what we earlier saw as suffering and adversity are now seen as blessed and grateful lesson opportunities to gain more wisdom and maturity. This new mindset of seeing things from a benevolent perspective is the true meaning of what some people refer to as "reborn". A return to our true divine nature, and away from our false nature that is the ego.

Everything happens to help us learn to grow up to love, courtesy of the caring and benevolent God of pure unconditional love. And when we fail to see or heed those divine nudges they get stronger the next time around. Then some mistakenly believe they are victims of suffering or divine punishment. Do our best to sidestep from the drama and find the embedded lessons. And when we have truly embraced those lessons they will not be repeated, and if they do repeat as a test to see if we have truly learned then we will be wiser and more mature to handle them better.

Congrats to us on becoming evolving humans, having greater wisdom and benevolent maturity to treat each other better; more able to live with each other in peace, harmony, and cooperation!!!

Wise Words Brother.
I give thanks to God for everything.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

My one concern personally, is the hardening of my heart.
This, to me, is the biggest hurdle.
I always repent of this.. But I screw up each day.
TBH, this place doesn't help that :)

May God's will be done.
Peace

Hey!

I agree we should always give thanks, but your probably a better man than me. When I go through rough trials sometimes I forget to be appreciative of my blessings. Thanks for reminding me of this that even in the worst we need to give thanks. For it’s all about Gods Glory anyways. And Christ in us, the hope of Glory. He wants us to walk with him, as a Son yes, a peace maker just like Jesus said, but also a friend.

What do you mean hardening of your heart ? You don’t have compassion for others or you are quick to judge or vulgar I don’t know what you mean!

I screw up each hour lol

Cheers!
