Of course they are. They've been telling you that is the plan for at least 40 years. They are going to let mother nature do most of the heavy lifting, but they sure seemed happy to give the process a little shove.

One could argue the plan to take control of the planet has been around for hundreds and hundreds of years. But a clear assessment of modern history shows they ramped it up into high gear some time after WWII, and went into the final push in the late 90's. And I suspect we're near the end of whatever that plan is, as they are getting sloppy - like they aren't worried about consequences of their actions any longer. They seem to be pushing for maximum chaos on the surface before they leave, though.
