Thell be screaming this fall,I pre buy my propane for winter early like in the next week when my road hardens up but I also expect it to be high as well . Going to be cutting wood in a month soon as well.
Quoting: the deplorable ar-15 nut When we lived out in Montana we had a 500 gallon Propane tank. We also had a double barrel wood stove. (Montana Stove). Here in Pa when I bought my house the first thing I di was tear out the old oil furnace and install a Natural gas one. I saved so much $$ on that decision alone. Last year we had it replaced with a newer more efficient model. I still had the Highest winter heating bills in my 35 years here. (Nat Gas prices skyrocketed too. But Not as bad as Home heating oil) My dad lives in Mechanicsburg and has done the same thing as you and his heating bills were astronomical as well.
