Just saw someone posting on Snapchat videos of her taking her 2-3 year old son to ER with high fever, vomiting and rashes all over. The kids had really bad red rashes in face and on hands. thanks. sounded like they dumbed down the protocals already.
in the beginning, it sounded like u weren't even to b near a person suspected with MP without gloves and all regardless of sores. they changed the rules to make the med workers feel safer?

the concern to us average ppl is how well and for how long this survives on surfaces and in the air. walking thru stores becomes more hazardess than with covid. it would b on your clothes and shoes.

not many ppl are wiping stuff down when returning from stores. chemicals/disinfectants have to b in contact with the virus particals for way longer than ppl think. they don't kill it instantly. wiping tables or desks off between ppl was never going to stop the spread.

i actually use gloves when i am out. went to bleach baths for canned goods, milk, and anything we could so the items are in contact with bleach longer. boxes and other items that can't b put in water are wiped down. with covid, we don't think the virus survives long thou.

with the MP and how long it does survive, we will have to b more careful. say it gets on the GF's purse. days from now she picks it up, is the pox still viable? this applies to anything really. ppl bring stuff home set it down without thinking. if this is like small pox and the blankets from history, that virus can b picked back up weeks later. becomes a nightmare.
