User ID: 79661142 ![]() 05/17/2022 02:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This bullshit is all about NASA being big fat liars. They started down this path of fraud at least since Apollo; and now NASA will not stop, no matter how ridiculous. I can tell you from my own experience as a an actual Space equipment designer. There has never been a true space suit. There has never been a manned retro-rocket landing. There is insane radiation thru the Van Allen Belt. Killing levels many times over. In true deep space, solar panels and batteries barely function. I actually worked on REAL space batteries and their chargers. It is crazy difficult to make any battery survive vacuum, 1000's of discharge cycles, and terrible temperature swings. Moving parts! Anything moving will be subject to vacuum welding. A real issue. Many of us are simply tired of the sloppy work. So now they slip up and show their Devon Island doorway, and still pretend this junk pile is on Mars. THIS is the BS we are sick of. I can tell you, the engineering of an unmanned Geo satellite is already crazy difficult. Manned missions?? Many of us don't think so. |
