Also, this is not even possibly Fukushima related. He could have eaten something laced with tiny bit of alpha emitters, and it would be difficult to detect. Years ago in Mexico, a broken x-ray machine that was "recycled" contaminated many tons of steel. One little girl that had played with the contents before recycling died--and was so radioactive that she was buried under several feet of concrete. you don't die just by eating some parts of radioactive parts you would need to ingest at least 1 - 2 kg of that stuff |

To receive a lethal dose during a short duration exposure while working on a truck, would most likely require a very potent source. Most likely a gamma emitter, probable suspects would be the double gamma emitting Co60 or Cs137. Authorities no doubt have investigated this incident and have more details. With the current radiation source searches going on in Texas and possibly other locations, I give these events 2 sirens to be aware and monitor closely. This may not bode well...  |

The reason I ask is that less than 12 hours ago I took a greater than "heroic" dose of the strongest psilocybin mushrooms (P. Azurescens) and radiation poisoning and sickness was one of the biggest things that I brought back from "there." I tried to ask how much time is left, but I didn't receive an answer for that part of the question... I can't even begin to describe the horror that I saw and felt from this.
