Yep. I moved out of Miami for the corral reason. One way into the state, one way out. A boat won't get far enough to escape.

But if the last days on earth are to be celebrated in a Party Town, Florida is the place to be.

I have to go grocery shopping in the daytime now with everyone else and it seems like there are plenty of people.

Took a trip last week. Compared to previous years, the airports are ghost towns. No lines. No waiting.

What's terrible is I see posts on my FB page about friends passing due to heart attacks and other "health issues". You can see on their pages they are fine one day and the next they are dead. And no ine even mention the correlation with the Vaxx... It's sad.

They were just "filler" NPCs. You know, the guy at work who was just there and didnt say much of anything unless it was work related.

Quite a few people died.

The ones who were close to retirement, retired. Particularly teachers and school administrators, and people who work for the state. A lot of workplaces offered early retirement.

A LOT of people with mediocre jobs in food service or child care got laid off and never went back.

Lots of moms who worked when their kids were in school stopped working.

There was a ton of home time, and some started their own businesses.

Almost everyone who used to commute to an office environment with no customer/public interaction now works from home at least some of the time. This is a major boon for families who would otherwise need to pay for gas, child care, and a decent second vehicle. This happened in our own house. He was able to quit his job and is now self-employed once I was able to stop wasting time and money commuting.

A whole bunch of people who continued to work and work from home got side gigs, as well, taking advantage of the "substitute teacher shortage", delivery gigs and sometimes even taking on second work-from-home jobs.

Also ... I was thinking about this the other day as it pertained to a few of my friends ... when people's parents and grandparents died these past couple years, all those people got whatever inheritance there was, and a lot of them took advantage of the housing market, sold property and were able take a break from the workforce.

Lots of houses were flipped during that time, too. That's another thing I saw among my friends and acquaintances.

Those are guys that would normally be employed in construction but are working for themselves, taking advantage of the market.

My spouse got all 3 shots and now has an inflamed heart (myocarditis).

Had pre-existing tachycardia and I TOLD him to not get the jabs for that very reason. Didn't listen to me; now his life is literally on the line.

Doc said he needs surgery and is basically walking around like a ticking time bomb. Doesn't know when he will have another attack. Still denies it is covid vaxx related.

Our lives have been destroyed by this shit and everyone is in denial.

I live in a resort area with over 2,400 Restaurants. Almost all close now at 9pm. Even the McD's closes at 9pm! My local KFC is still drive thru only! All is blamed on shortage of workers if you ask.
My family all work nights and it terrible not being able to grab a bite after work. I have a choice of the Waffle House and TGI Fridays if I want food after 9pm. My local Food Lion Grocery store is open the latest till 11pm.

I think its more than meets the eye.. Its as if we are on some kind of martial law curfew as my resort area has people by day but one way to clear the streets at night is make sure everything closes at 9...

Wawa has delicious burgers and fries after 4,
and most are open 24 hrs!
