I like sleeping in cold. It's easier to heat a house to 60 than cool one to that level in the summer.

I hate the heat and the people that chimp out every time it gets over 80 degrees.

If you do manual labor like construction the cold is great. I work in IL and you start the day in a coat and sweatshirt, ditch the coat by coffee, ditch the sweatshirt after lunch. It's comfortable down to the 20s then you need more. But I'll take working in 30 degrees over 95 and humid any day.

I like the cold down to about -10 then it starts to get a bit chilly for me. The wind is what makes it unbearable a lot of the time. Dislike anything over 70 maybe 75 if there is a breeze

If you had to live through the smothering, life draining humidity of Mpumalanga Province lowlands for 5-6 months each year, you'd easily understand why some prefer the cold. Besides your point is silly. It's like telling people who like heat: "Why don't you set yourself on fire then?"

When we go camping in the Florida woodlands I always fall asleep sweating. I wake up very refreshed and cool because as the night goes on the air cools and you are covered in cool sweat already. Never had such great sleep than I did sleeping on pine needle bed.

Now the cold I could never get used to. People are meant to live in warm climates. We went through Central Missouri winters and I got used to it to a point but was never really comfortable.

I take a cold shower, as in absolutely no hot water, each and every day. I like cold. So OP is wrong.

I've had 2 heat strokes. At 85 degrees my clothes will be soaked with sweat after 10 minutes of strenuous work. At 95 degrees I have to be very careful.

So yeah, I like cool weather. I can work hard without over heating.

I prefer colder more mild temps.

The type of heat produced in much of the SE US, high humidity, is miserable and nauseating.

I hate the heat. I could live in a yearly winter wonderland and be perfectly happy.

You can cook the best foods. The snowy views are absolutely beautiful and you never get overheated.
