Why would you spend your heritage and your children's heritage and your countries and churches mission in such a way that you are purposely trying to cause the end times to happen. There is no 'trigger event' though - none that man know of. GOD knows. It's unlikely to be because some stone was rebuilt in the middle of a desert. New heaven and new earth is AFTER the millennial reign of Christ, when this decaying fallen world is no more. Those judged have rejected God's grace, they have only themselves to blame. God is just. Its ultimately this world getting exactly what they want, until then God prevents them from it, that is the restrainer.

Ofcourse, at the same time God SET ASIDE the land of Israel to the J. This is promised to them by God, and Christ will return there, literally and in person to rule. Now, if God doesn't keep his promises to the J, how do you know he will keep it promises to you? Thankfully we can see he DOES keep his promises to the J - against all odds.

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

That's still atleast 1007 years into the future. The rapture is not that event, it just marks the end of the age of grace and the beginning of Jacobs trouble and the great tribulation before Christ returns to rule from Jerusalem and the world is restored to preflood conditions. But eternity does not begin there yet, there's still one more rebellion before that.
