Re: UK officially in DEEP trouble - (Financially).
Quantitative easing simply means to increase the M1 money supply which is notes in circulation
M2 Reserves are I think, govt bonds etc
M3 and M4 are deeper strategic assets, i think M3 is gold, not sure. Been a while.

However, if you increase the supply of money the demand for consumption increases, except in stagflation which is an explosive inflation of the gdp figures which annotate every on cost which accretes during the supply chain disruptions which magnify the issue profoundly

people have been lulled into low interest rates and dollar values erode as capital is ameliorated due to inflation.

Good point... However. Some of us here find it quite surprising just how bad the UK actually is.

If you used the same metrics of inflation used in the 80's. Inflation should realistically be around the 18%.

Which is actually worse than most other developed countries. Also the economic forecast for the UK is worse than some other developed countries.

But yes. Your right. The USD is imploding. Which is actually the reserve to the UK GBP... And ECB.

That is awesome.

Usually energy creates GDP for most countries. However. America's GDP usually comes from its real estate sector.

Saying that. The US. Once there interest rates on housing reaches 7%. Which we are close to an apex. The housing market will crash... Which will kind of make the economic situation worse overall in the US. Especially its GDP.

Any advice for those in the UK at this time. And what they will be entering into from July onwards?

I feel sorry for anyone living in a country right now that does not have the right to bear arms. Things will be much tougher for them as the months go on, and the desperation of people reaches it's inevitable limit.

I think it might be a kind of revolution actually. Because like how much can society take? I mean for example when enough people struggle for food. The people will get real upset. And not simply sit and do nothing.

Its very interesting as all this news that came out recently with inflation in the UK. Also had a news headline of more police powers for stop and search and to bring down knife crime. And also to give special police constables more powers to use tasers.

Its almost like the government is deliberately increasing its policing powers to keep the population under a certain control I suppose.

Sourcing as much firewood and as many water storage containers as poss here, together with going ott on food preservation, medicinal supplies and tools etc. I would cautiously say, that come the second week in September, the merde will smash into that fan big time.
