My job is in the loop of deploying them onto some public-facing screens when they occur. As such I have an email box containing the initial alert emails every time one gets issued in this state for the past 5 years. They come in waves. Part of this is seasonal: if the weather is keeping people from going out there is fewer of them. However, beyond that I've seen spans of time when there are no silver alerts for 3 or 4 weeks, or once nearly 2 months, only for it to end and have a sudden burst of daily alerts for the week that follows. Almost like people forgot the silver alert program existed until one came across that reminded them. Right now... some more than usual, but not absurdly so. I'd just call it the result of good May weather. |

The alerts I have received over the last month alone (all of different folks in the immediate area) are exponentially higher than any similar time period before. Anonymous Coward User ID: 82976698 Canada 05/18/2022 11:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Got it. I'd say the increase is just pure force of numbers. Population is aging, and the covid shots and covid itself lead to mental decline across the board. I don't think that's any longer in dispute. I never got the shot but I'm pretty sure I got covid. I've noticed mental decline in myself. I struggle to find words, remember names, all kinds of things like that. I'm sure somebody already of advanced age is getting it way worse than me. |

See if they increase or decrease over the course of the year. Publish the real data when you have some. |
