Jailing someone for spreading 'misinformation' is the antithesis of the first amendment. Who is to decide what is misinformation? We are supposed to debate and have different points of view and opinions. Two scientists can look at a data set and get two completely different theories on it. To give power to only one of them, and say they are the law and anyone who goes against them must be jailed, is so dangerous and stupid that I shouldn't even have to explain this.
