Unemployed People Are UNSTOPPABLE... Nothing Can Stop These People From Traveling

They're not unemployed. They're just making money doing non-traditional jobs, like selling stuff on the internet. Then they live in their vans. You don't need to work as much when you don't have rent.

Thread: Holy FUCK! Unemployed People Are UNSTOPPABLE

Anyhoo, a little bit about me.. I am retired (in my late 40's), have my own home paid off, and have 2 small rental cabins paid off too. I paid off my cars, and Im 100% debt free. No credit cards, no loans. I pay cash for everything, and own gold and silver too.

Now lets get to the unemployed people part...

I had to travel to Washington state a week ago to visit some family. I have been there many times. This time I went there holy freaking cow balls. On a weekday during the middle of the day, the roads were jammed packed with cars. I mean, never in my entire life have I seen this... As I mentioned before, I have traveled to the same place many many times and this was the 1st time seeing it soo busy...

I see entire families in their brand new $40,000 - $80,000 SUVs, with their kids and dogs. This was on a Tuesday at around early afternoon. About 40% of the cars on the road were entire families in the car. I see a couple of them dancing and listing to music, and they stick their hands out the window doing the wave motion. How are these people not at work??? They are young adults in their 20's - 40's....

And not only that, I have noticed alot of people are driving slower than usual!! IF these people actual had jobs, then they wouldnt be driving below the speed limit... The light turns green and they sit through the green light... Did they all win the Mega Powerballs or something??

When I used to work, I would drive fast to get to work on time... I wouldnt be driving 10-15 MPH below the speed limit... These people are taking their sweet sweet time. I even see them slowing down to take pictures at random objects.. I shit you not!! How do these people have so much free time?

Now lets move on to Thursday in the same week.. My sister who is in her 50's (she is retired too) had to go to Costco and I went with her as well.. For the love of god, the second I step foot into that store I though it was COVID all over again... All of the lanes at the checking area was taken.. This was at 11:00 AM... All of the lines were backed up atleast 25 feet!!!!!! Once again, atleast half of them were with entire families, or couples.... 80% of them were young people.. Again, how are these people not at work???!!!

It is not like they were stocking up on food.. They all had 1 item of each food.. I even saw people taking selfies with their families.. I mean come on... How much free time do these people have??? One lady was even dancing with her daughter while waiting at the checkout lane...

Even though I am retired, I still dont have time do take selfies or take my sweet time to do shopping or dance in my freaking car... I still have to run alot of errands and work on prepping projects at home...

For pete's sake, how are these unemployed people paying for all of this crap they have? They own half a million dollar homes, multiple brand new cars totaling $40-80k each, have student loans, credit card bills, health insurance bill ,ect ect....

In my part 1 thread, a GLPer told me that they are using money from HELOCs. This would explain why they have so many useless stuff. However, the situation has changed now.. now that inflation has hit over 30%, gas prices are over $6/gallon, interest rates on homes have gone up, food prices are soaring, the stock market is crashing, and i bet their 401k has taken a huge hit too.. And even after all of that, they are still traveling and taking their sweet time when they go out? What gives??



What will stop these sheep from traveling??

Imagine if a designer scripted NPCs to do something at a certain time of the year. Memorial Day weekend would be when the script activates... spending, traveling, outside activities.

But things both real and scripted changed the game so to speak.

But the NPCs continue to follow the same old script despite the fact that it doesn't seem possible or logical if you factor in the new changes.

It means the designer has not updated the scripts to reflect those changes or is unable to without unraveling the entire program. So, the easy and lazy thing to do would be to just have them continue the old scripts.

Please use your heads and think outside this artificial box.

Time is short , especially now.
I worked for 11$ a hour in 2020 as a CNA, on a COVID UNIT.
I have since finished school and have my RN License.
I can feed my family now. And you know what, if I want to vacation during the week, or be in a line at Sam’s Club on a Thursday afternoon, I will.
I work 3 days a week. And I will help save your life if you come to my ER.

Bruh I haven't worked an 8 hour shift since August of 2020. People ask me how I do it? How I travel across the country, shoot guns, go see shit. God's got me bro because the devil fucked everything up. I'm just enjoying the show.

OP, you hit the nail on the head. I agree 100% with you.

I work at one of those pack and ship centers and we also take pictures for passport too.

Before Convid, we would only have 1 or 2 people come in daily for passport pictures. Now, we are seeing 5-10 people coming in every single day and most of them are big families with their kids. These people come in on weekdays and not weekends.

I have chatted with alot of them are they are saying that they are traveling to Europe, Australia, or South East Asia.. Yep, even after 2 years of vacation since early 2020 and getting frebee money, they are still wanting to travel and not work..

Credit cards.

Although gas is expensive, it's still cheaper than a venue requiring admission. Peeps are time rich but money poor because they are backing away from exploitative and unreasonable conditions created by unenlightened employers.


It's spring, people have cabin fever, and there's pent-up post-covid social need to press the flesh, mingle and people watch. So the family piles into the car and makes getting groceries a fun outing.

The trip is the destination, so let's take a detour away from the highway to the mall and cruise down main street for cheap entertainment.

We are also socializing moar at the kitchen table, the old fashioned way.

Also, peeps may have lost the cottage. Or they are making moar visits the cottage, and inviting all the extended family and friends.
