Really? Where?

No clear transitional fossils:
[link to www.icr.org (secure)]

Example: A crocodile with long legs is a crocodile (example of a fossil i know of that is called a "transitional fossil"), not a middle stage between crocodile and lizard.

Life in various forms exploded at the same time during the cambrian explosion and had aprox the same forms it has today, that is what the fossil records reveal, NOT a branching out gradually into various types of life like evolution should show:

 Quoting: Just†Me

Archaeopteryx is one of many transitional dinosaur/birds. There are many transitional fossils, no matter how much you stick your head in the sand and ignore them.

Do you understand that there isn't a single land animal in the Cambrian?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80131628

Archaeopteryx is a bird, not a transitional dinosaur/bird.
 Quoting: Just†Me

It has teeth, fingers, and a reptilian tail. If I remove the feathers from archaopteryx, you would never call it a bird. I have tested Creationists on this, and they can't tell the difference between an archaeopteryx and a raptor.

Your problem with the cambrian explosion is a huge number of animals arising at the same time. That debunks the theory of evolution. The fossil records contradict you.

The bible puts creation in stages.
 Quoting: Just†Me

It's not 'my problem.' It seems to be yours. The cambrian spans millions of years. No land animals exist. It doesn't debunk evolution at all, that's just your baseless assertion.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80131628

For evolution to work, you need to demonstrate a TREE where species gradually morph into various shapes and you cant. Instead the cambrian explosion shows different types of life arose at the same time in a very short lifespan in the history of earth. You can pretend like this doesnt debunk evolution all you want, but it does.

As for birds with teeth, heres some:

And heres a bird with claws:

..which are some of Gods creations.

And with that fact, you have admitted life, where the simplest life forms we have are cells, needed to be fully functional, with DNA, ability to reproduce, take in nutrition and digest it etc, from the second it arose. And with that admission, you just debunked the theory of evolution.

See the James Tour video posted here.
 Quoting: Just†Me

No, you're just confused. Unfortunately for you, evolution isn't that easy to debunk. Scientists have been trying for a century, but all we do is find more evidence for it.

RNA (the likely precursor to DNA) is capable of forming naturally, and replicating without a modern cell.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80131628

Youre misrepresenting science, and thats what you need to do to try to make the lie of evolution sound credible to people here. Article on what youre actually talking about for those interested:

[link to answersingenesis.org (secure)]

So youre back to deal with what James Tour says, the exact same dilemmas, youre just trying to throw dust in peoples faces leading them down a road going nowhere.

So, to repeat James Tours points: how did the information in DNA and these molecules supposedly spontaniously pop out of the blue, in a cell body that could replicate itself, take in nutrition etc, which all needed to be in place the second life arose?
 Quoting: Just†Me

If you paid attention, you'd see I already answered your question. It didn't spontaneously appear. RNA existed before DNA, and RNA can form naturally outside of cells.

And for the fifth time, evolution only happens AFTER life appears. Evolution is change in heritable traits of a population over generations. Please, pay attention this time.

The origin of life (abiogenesis) and evolution are two separate processes. Even if we prove that a god snapped his fingers and caused the first life to appear supernaturally, that doesn't mean it didn't evolve AFTER appearing.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80131628

You are misrepresenting science AGAIN. Heres the article ONE MORE TIME, now READ IT, and try again:

You're not even listening to me. I just told you that not all life uses DNA.

A virus is not life (like a cell).

So youre stuck with what James Tour says. So lets post what he says again, which is just as valid as before you came here:

The tree is a diagram that accounts for billions of years of events. You can't literally demonstrate the tree. That makes no sense. However, the entire fossil record, and the field of phylogenics are entirely consistent with the tree of life. All the evidence is consistent with the tree of life.

Instead the cambrian explosion shows different types of life arose at the same time in a very short lifespan in the history of earth. You can pretend like this doesnt debunk evolution all you want, but it does.

No, it doesn't debunk evolution. Only an ignorant person would say this. Millions of years is not a very short time span. And just because we haven't found every generation of organism, doesn't mean they didn't exist. 99% of life doesn't fossilize at all, and prior to life evolving skeletons, they wouldn't leave even less fossil evidence.

You compress time into a few million years where theres an explosion of all sorts of animals, basically what we have today, and youre saying this doesnt debunk evolution? If your theory of evolution had any truth to it, the cambrian exposion would never have happened, because in the theory evolution, life doesnt "explode" like the fossil records show. Your whole lie depends on a slow, grinding process where life morph into different types of animals.

And Gods creation gives many designs, a peacock for example doesnt need that fancy outfit, they still have it. That doesnt prove evolution.

As for proving that your socalled "dinosaur" is nothing more than a bird, thats exactly what "answers in gensis" does here, so everyone including you can figure out thats exactly what archaeopteryx is:

Re: Where did God come from?
if god, one of, if not the most intelligent human created, can't explain his (or our) origins, then why do you think you can ??? much less the origins of Consciousness ... you can't explain water or electricity

and what difference would it make it you could? but it is evident by his attempt to discribe his our creation .... by saying "Let there be Light " it seems obvious that he came into being after electricity ...

because without having a clue - how it works, I flip on a switch and say "let there be light" - but I didn't create light - and neither did he - but even a blind person is conscious of light and an ant is aware of their need for water

consciousness is AWARENESS of what is - not necessary to know how it got here - it appears that all forms of life can increase their level of consciousness - and that it is not limited by what others believe

Its fun to be a christan today with all the scientists now coming out showing what a hoax atheism is. 20 years ago there werent many others than Ken Hovind, the school teacher, today we have PhDs of all sorts.

Not that we really need it but it sure is a bonus. And as ive stated before, i dont need to know about cells to be a christian, there are other ways to God, but it doesnt hurt knowing how God is an undisputable fact even within natural science too.

Stop pretending to know things you don't understand. You're blindly parroting lies from answersingensis, which openly admit that they are unscientific frauds.

...and youre saying this doesnt debunk evolution? If your theory of evolution had any truth to it, the cambrian exposion would never have happened, because in the theory evolution, life doesnt "explode" like the fossil records show. Your whole lie depends on a slow, grinding process where life morph into different types of animals.
 Quoting: Just†Me

I understand you've listened to a bunch of Creationist con artists telling you that the cambrian debunks evolution, but it doesn't. You haven't even come close to demonstrating that. This is a 6 million year period where some basic phyla appear. It's not a problem at all, you're just misinformed.

Answers in genesis is a propaganda rag. I've proven this. Look at their statement of faith. You have been bamboozled. Open your mind, stop spouting your incorrect bullshit, and go look what actual scientists are saying.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80131628

Even Darwin disagree with you, youre admitting you arent after truth here but just want to hear what fits the lie of evolution which you are comitted to.

As for actual scientists proving that archaeopteryx is a bird, thats exactly what im doing here, and you choose yourself if you want to read it or not. And if not, this thread is not for you. Youre not convincing anyone:

 Quoting: Just†Me

Darwin disagrees with what?

"youre admitting you arent after truth here but just want to hear what fits the lie of evolution which you are comitted to."

No, asshole, I am not admitting that. The statement of Faith on your precious 'answersingensis' website IS admitting that. Don't project your faults onto me you gaslighting cunt.

"As for actual scientists proving that archaeopteryx is a bird, thats exactly what im doing here..."

Listen to me. Go look at the archeopteryx skeleton yourself. remove the feathers and compare it to a raptor. Any idiot can see it is closer to a raptor than a modern bird. You don't need answers in genesis to do your thinking for you.

Re: Where did God come from?
Your Creationist propaganda sites are irrelevant. Creationism isn't science. Creationists openly admit that they will ignore any evidence that conflicts with their Biblical literalism. Here's the proof, the answers in genesis 'statement of faith':

[link to answersingenesis.org (secure)]
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80131628

Creationism is true science. If you dont want to listen to them because you dont like what they stand for, youre the one rejecting them based on faith.

Ofcourse we know the bible is true and that science lines up with the bible. We dont need to sit here and debate cells to know that, ive done other posts in this thread explaining why thats the case.

So your false theory of evolution have no relevance to me, i know for a fact its bullshit. Im just debating this because i was conned into believing that hoax aswell back in the days, and to try to help you atheists break out of that lie.

If you dont want to deal with science and faith, this is the wrong thread for you.
 Quoting: Just†Me

I'm actually sad that you are so hopelessly confused. Signing a statement of faith, where you promise to presuppose biblical literalism, and reject any evidence which contradicts that is the opposite of science.

If you don't understand that, you don't know what science is, and you don't understand why it works, and how it got us to where we are.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80131628

"confused", "sad", blah blah.. I think the one that fits better for are you, youre the one trying to sell lies here which are being debunked one after another, youre not getting anywhere.

 Quoting: Just†Me

Hovind was never a school teacher, and he is not a phd. He's a used car salesman. 'atheism' is just the lack of belief in a god. that can't be a hoax, and it's not part of evolution. It's a shame you are so horribly indoctrinated, and misinformed, but I'm tired of trying to reason with someone that rejects reality, and is too arrogant to question themselves.

lmao

Darwin werent a smug arrogant atheist, he were humble enough to know his theory was weak and he was agnostic. Today thanks to scientists like James Tour which didnt even exist in his days, we can know evolution is scientifically impossible as an explenation for life.

Again, being a christian is a spiritual journey, when you tap into that aspect of faith, you know for an absolute fact that "evolution" is a hoax, and that those holding to it are ignorant fools. And i used to be among those fools before i repented. I didnt really know much about evolution, but i bought into the lie because it was presented as an undeniable fact by all the authorities (liars) i had around me. Now i do know better, because i had to check up on this later.

Theyre not calling archeopteryx a bird for the reasons you think they do, you dont have deeper knowledge of this than you spot some claws and think "Aha dinosaur" because that fits your paradigm. But answers in genesis go deeper into WHY its a bird.

Im sure this interest other readers here, but if you dont want to know and are trying to debate people here that do know, youre kind of the dummy of the thread. If thats what you want to be, ok, but like the other nonsense you posted here, youre not achieving much else than posting noise.

Because you are holding to lies, you dont need a phd to debunk your bullshit, God can use nobodys like Hovind or me for that. But now with folks like James Tour or the team in "is genesis history" we DO have real authorities in science backing us. That was NOT the case 20-30 years ago in the days of Hovind.

And that just makes this even more fun watching atheists squirm when top scientists like James Tour, Sanford, Snelling, Anderson and others confront your lies.

oh so you admit you have nothing then? Well youre lying. Christians have never disagreed with the fact that types of animals can change over time, but "evolution" was the big selling point for the atheists, finally you had SOMETHING, that straw you can cling on to, to reject God, because this is supposedly how we went from cells to humans, but when you get to the cell youre stuck. Before science knew how complex cells are, your argument was basically that there was some slime that life crawled up from (atheist mythology), and that could sound convincing until you deal with what science know today, which they didnt in Darwins days.

But despite how weak it is, you still have something right? Before it, you had nothing. But it wont hold as an excuse when you face God.

Thats what youre trying to convince people of, but the truth is they scare you to death. Youre trying to kick creationists out of work, I was going to a creationist seminar in a couple of weeks but they were shut out at the museum i was going to "because the museum didnt share our values". If we were so harmless, you wouldnt react like this. But for some strange reason, i dont think a gang of muslims would get turned down like our seminar was if they had arranged something on that museum. So muslims clearly arent a threat to ateists, but we christians are. Ever wondered why?
