It works for my dog who is really bad at attaching my grass and digging holes but it will take some work on your part. Quoting: ncmom9 [link to www.invirox.com (secure)] The buzz/noise function works for most occasions and the vibrate function really gets their attention. I only use the shock function if they are doing something dangerous, like trying to run into the street in front of a car. But it stops them and has them running saftly back to me. For digging, I buzz once and say no! If they don't stop I use the vibrate function and say no, until they stop. It gets her attention and she stops digging. But you would have to be outside with them and train them. ***Here is the page with all the models, the other link was just for the replacement collar. [link to www.invirox.com (secure)] ncmom9 |

As I stomp at him. I even filled one with gravel. I am the type of individual who would put them on CCTV and when I saw them at it, I would go out there with a slingshot and some clay beads and hit them with it in the backside until they learned to stop. Gotta catch them in the act! Hope you figure it out. I still need to figure out how to stop my dog from dropping large chunks of firewood in front of my front door steps. I have enough to fill a wood stove laying out there right now. It's more of an annoyance than anything. It's not really hurting much heh... He is part black lab/great dane. I put him out on a chain during the day and let him off if I am outside to run, but he chews on everything within reach when left out there unattended! (But thankfully this happens only outside.) This past winter I watched it all emerge from the ice as it thawed. It was like finding dinosaur bones in the Siberian permafrost after it melts. I hauled off a whole pickup truck load of stuff he chewed up after spring melt. Torn tarp, 2x3 pieces of osb, 2x4's, #10 tin cans with scrap in them, shelf brackets, cinder block chunks and of course firewood and other odd wood scrap. I had to shorten the chain after he chewed the phone line box on the utility pole. It's no wonder my granddaughter calls him a monster. That's a 55 inch television box he is on in the pic below. He is about 80-100lb and twice that size in that pic now. :Pike.: |

Mostly the small ones, but the big chunks leave me scratching my head. I bought a 5 pack of mini flashlight. The delivery driver left them on my front step. I never did find 3 of them..... Didn't even know they were delivered until I found a small scrap of one of the boxes they come in and the bubble wrap. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74765683 Yes, they are bored. You don't need to give them away but you did need to take them for a walk and train them to do stuff. (OP) User ID: 36857873 United States 05/21/2022 07:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Dogs won't dig inside the house. Quoting: Agent 99 If they do it's time to put them up for adoption. I'm not going to give them away as much as this aggravates me. They do not want to come inside my house. They will gladly run you over to get in when it's freezing cold, but it has to be really cold for them before THEY want to come in. They have shelter from everything, they have a heated house, they have my barn with beds, they have a cave I dug, they have raised mesh beds, they have a mister. It's quite impressive the lengths I have gone to for these guys. I want them to be happy and comfy because they are my buddies. When I make them come inside and they don't want to be here It gets expensive quick. I just want them to be normal dogs, I don't care if a hole got dug on occasion, that would be fine. My yard would look like a motocross track within a week if I let them be. I'm just tired of stringing wire once a week and then putting it down for them to dig right beside the wire. They are very active with me during they day, they are not bored to my knowledge, they have toys, they have cool, warmth, water and chewy things. Here in an hour we'll do our morning mouse rounds and start the day. I just need lot's of coffee so I can cover a few more holes today. Tie it to a metal pole like a tether ball pole that is inset in the ground. Attach playthings to it that are nearly indestructible, using para-cord. Throw out several medium to large size balls they can kick around and maul. Football, soccer ball, basket ball..... Several people are correct. They are likely just bored. I have taken Gatorade bottles and punched small random holes in them, put some dog food in them and cinched the cap down tight. My dogs loved kicking them around, to get the food that fall out from one of the holes in the bottle. They really have to work to get it out and the bottles themselves can take a lot of abuse. |

They hate that sumbitch though. I just ordered some ghost pepper puree for 50 bucks and will make a spray to try again. I got a second load of tree mulch yesterday from some guys trimming trees around here and the previous load I spread around my barn has no dig holes as of yet, but that was not a dig spot they messed with much, and I cant use it on my grass. Thanks to all the Morans who replied, I had some laughs and a few of you prolly need to see a psychiatrist. Pops I have not yet begun to defile myself The Fires of time consume all men equally. Not sure on the power levels. But learn how to use these types of products. I learned from our trainers. Our device goes to 100. The highest we’ve used on our puppy ( 5 months of age and older) is #3. Now the buzzer is plenty. At 6 months - the pup is learning to go off lead. Doing good. WARNING- some dogs have to have the collar on 100% while awake. They figure out, they won’t get corrected when the collar isn’t on, and misbehave. HONESTLY - it takes time. Lots of time. Daily active training periods. And of course - thru out the day. . |
