Nothing is repaired or reused, just tossed away and we buy another. When the items are no longer available, their value will go up and be appreciated. They will also be built here more. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82355780 Things used to be made to last. Now days they are built to be replaced. The manufacturers purposely make things that break so you are forced to keep buying them. |

The US government is a tool of the global royal families and elites who rule the world. why are you such a bootlicker? Even the "royal families" have their boss. It goes all the way up the chain to fallen angels and finally Satan. That's why the bible calls it a spiritual battle. The poor athiests call it bigfoot and aliens. |

Half are agency but suddenly they are taking on 50 plus to permanent with supposedly orders up yet build down due to supply and they quality of what we do get etc... I believe they are about to reduce the daily build to fit supply chain and ditch the 400 agency staff. Happened before in 2008/9 and the older hands are saying same stuff happening now... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79780865 Eat me. All I hear is how you people want us poor folk to spend responsibility and save our money, and then you want to decrease they variety of cheap goods their are for purchase. Sorry it’s not 1950 anymore. But a lack of access to goods doesn’t help during a period of inflation when you make 18/hr in an area where average rent is more than half your monthly pay. And before you make fast food jokes I am truck driver. Learn economics. The reason their goods are cheaper is because everything costs more here. Raw materials, shipping, labor costs, etc. Your so-called high quality American product is often the same shit in a different box with twice the cost. |

As long as we can make our own electrical transformers and car parts, and air conditioning parts, and parts to make houses, we should be ok. It's the necessities we should focus on. The government should stop giving money out for stupid reasons and start paying companies who want to make necessary parts. Truck parts, car parts, a/c parts, housing parts, etc... Or better yet, the government should award a PRIZE to people every year who come up with newer and better and more efficient ways to heat, cool, drive, fly, etc... Seriously, we have NO incentives anymore to produce new things, because of Big oil, big Pharma, big food.... Our government has lost its way and has become so corrupt, it's sad. |
