At 48 Years Old, I just passed the hardest exam I've ever taken!
It was an audio amplification examine over RC, Impedance, and Transformer Coupling.

I've got a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics with an emphasis in Biochemistry. AAS in Industrial Electronics and Paramedic and Fire Science. Vocational certificates in Carpentry and Masonry. And I've Comptia A, Network, and Security+.

And this one freaking exam has kicked my ass six ways of Sunday!

I'm humbled by what I don't know.

That's what I pay in taxes every two weeks. Not including my wife's salary. Or, our farm or our small business, which are paid quarterly.

So, short answer, yes and no. Hell yes, on the AASs, the Comptias, and the vocational certificates. On the BS, no. I should have just done straight math or engineering. Hell, even history or English.

But the misery of all that pre-med shit, absolutely not! In that aspect, I'm an educated idiot. Of course, shit hits the fan, between that education, critical care paramedic, my WALS (Wilderness Advanced Life Support), and my actual field experience in remote medicine, I'm probably as sharp as any PA or NP. Plus I worked for my wife's old boss, a surgeon, for one year while I was pre-med and I shadowed him and a BC Trauma Surgeon. So, I can suture and do quite a few surgical procedures.

So, in a way, my BS was worth it, kinda---sorta.

I dont have much formal education, but three months ago I passed the UAV commercial pilots test, at the age of 65. Only 250K + people in the USA have done that. The test was really difficult.

What's the name of the exam?

I've been a RF/EE hobbyist for 2+ decades, but I've never seen a formal exam covering those topics.

Congrats on passing!
