Most fish flesh is grey before you cook it. This doesn't bother me.
Quoting: GLP Effect You ever ate a fish? I've eaten East Coast/West Coast, Minn, MT, CA, Ontario, BC, Ireland/France/England and I've never seen grey fleshed fish except once. That was a frozen salmon at Smith's, from Indonisia or some such. When it thawed it was grey and looked really dead. Zombie dead. I've warned other shoppers not to buy that crap. Every other fish I've ever bought or caught was white, pink or reddish pink.
