Power out, stores all damaged or closed, gasoline and water in short supply. Basic SHTF scenario. Living through this, I have learned the following:
1.The world doesn't end, you find a way to manage.
2. People don't turn on each other, quite the opposite, they become more civil and empathetic.
3. With time, things get back to "normal".
4. Communities become closer and stronger.
In short, I wish people would stop worrying so much. Be prepared, do the best you can. Things will work out, and you will be surprised with what you can get through.
Good luck to all of you. |

Quoting: Nen Some people were unruly there, but a lot of people helped one another and survived because of it. I know there were people going around on boats rescuing their neighbors. It wasn't all bad behavior. |
