procreational yes, recreational no

to add: why, as god, create something so beautiful like an orgasm when there is a bad side to it ? wouldn't it have been better to create sort of a minor orgasm without any wow-effect/intensity so that the want to experience it would exclude the recreational-use/abuse ?

some commandments like

“You shall have a place outside the camp, and you shall go out to it. And you shall have a trowel with your tools, and when you sit down outside, you shall dig a hole with it and turn back and cover up your excrement. Because the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to give up your enemies before you, therefore your camp must be holy, so that he may not see anything indecent among you and turn away from you.

Bible is a guide to life, physically and spiritually as well as an education on history and what's to come. Gods wisdom is worth more than any weight of gold. One thing it is not though is the good guide to sex.

The results of an orgasm are mentioned

Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brother’s wife, he wasted his seed on the ground in order not to give offspring to his brother. Genesis 38:9

Whats your definition then? You think the bible is a good guide to sex? Yet we are warned of lust. Dont just comment a fail and not point out why. Stand boldly in all you claim and present reason for your disagreement. Give reasoning why it doesnt guide you to how to live the life God wants. Give reason why its nit a history book. Give reason why it dowsnt tell us about the future and then tell us what it's really about.

Pretty sure King David had an orgasm bagging another man's wife.

I'm pretty sure all of the folks mentioned in the bible had orgasms...

but then again, why isn't it discussed ? For almost everything else there is some godly opinion. Even the hairs on the heads of peeps. But the orgasm, such an intrinsic part of being human, nada..

I think this to be strange.

Not true, there is a story about a guy spilling his seed on the ground.

Biblical account
When Onan had sex with Tamar, he withdrew before he ejaculated and "spilled his seed on the ground", since any child born would not legally be considered his heir. The next statement in the Bible says that Onan did evil and that God slew him.

In the Genesis Apocryphon, Lamech worries that his son is illegitimate and accordingly confronts his wife about her fidelity. Bitenosh answers these accusations with a surprising response: she asks her husband to recall the sexual pleasure that she experienced during their intercourse.

The biblical story of Onan (Genesis 38) is traditionally linked to referring to masturbation and condemnation thereof, but the sexual act described by this story is coitus interruptus, not masturbation. There is no explicit claim in the Bible that masturbation is sinful.

Like everything else in history, it was probably 'sanitized'.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83277861

The oldest profession is mentioned in the bible was and still is prostitution, this was before the flood and after the flood, they were many houses that were in Babylon that was before things happened this was early Babylon, not the later one, they had what we would call houses of prostitution also they had beer and such. If you didn't study it, you may not understand some references in the Bible. What got Ahab and Jezebel into trouble besides killing God's prophets was their goddess worship had priests and gods and goddesses both bald heads in this worship and both were prostitutes, when both these died Jezebel fell from the wall and dogs ate her, and Ahab was killed, they also killed all these people, they were involved in some pretty sick things.

The story is about the daughter in law who was a widow of his son, was by law supposed to marry the other son so she could have the child from this family line, the brother refused and the head of the house did push it, and it was their laws for a good reason, well, the daughter in law acted like a harlot this is that they called women for hire for sex and hid her identity from him but she asks for his ring, well after this she got with child, and the father was the father of the son who died, these became a lead line in the family all the way to Jesus Christ. She did what was supposed to happen, and they wouldn't so she did, they were twins, one was crippled.

Of course, King David got in trouble because of his lust for a married woman, then king Solomon had a whole lot of wives which in the long run, caused him to lose the king for his son, pagan women he married and he built them temples to their gods and goddesses. He fell from grace, his wisdom was first from God, and the last part he lost it because he only used what he thought he had by his own doing, it did not work out well as before with God's help.

You don't need another book for all these things, violence, horror, sex, danger, intrigue and you name it also the destruction that really horrible, but this tells you what happens when you do listen or read what God left to tell you why you have so many problems, the biggest is not remembering who created us, and thanking him, but what starts all the problems as far as I can put it, in the commandments you wouldn't break so many commandments if you did lie to yourself and others if you did not lie, it leads to every other commandment listed, but as it says in the Bible Satan was a liar from the beginning and when you get a thought that is not like your normal thinking, that is Satan whispering in your ear temptation, some follow others don't, the ones who follow believe it their own ideas, because they don't know their own thoughts. If something suddenly pops out of your mouth unlike you, it is because you did have time to think to yourself, you catch that thought sometimes just in your mind, it really isn't you.
Sorry I got a headache

These are the times that tries men's and
women's souls!

May we come though it victorious!

An orgasm reveals the secrect of our existence.

It's kept as a duty that looks like the most easy to follow.

Forces are bundled and voila, the rumor appears with something new in the room that most keep as sole existent.

Therefore orgasm isn't anything else in carrying out that anything is carried out, we have a blue print, basically, should bring you up to ideas how to avoid work, the burden of it and yet come up with something to marvelling at.

That the stunt in the outer realm is not a referenced topic in the bible must lay on its propensity to be quick the only one.

You need to study history. The concept of orgasm was first recognized by Theodor Orgasmus in 432 A.D.
