20's used to be the ultimate age to have children.

Now women are waiting and having children in their 30's and 40's, and sometimes 50's.

Some think it's better to have children younger so that once the kids are grown they can be more physically active to enjoy them and their grandchildren.

Because eventually she will have her clock ticking. If she's 25, she only has 10 years to find a mate, and have the number of children she wants before she's 35. After age 35, pregnancy starts having additional risks.

So the short answer is, her clock's ticking.
