hobbies, are yours going up or down in value?

i just talked with a NY city coin auction man and he said that any silver dollar as long as no hole in it cost them 45$
i was asking as coins worth 40 to 60 $ are now going for 60 to 120$ now. and if you go to sell them you lucky if you get the silver$ in the coin. silver dollar right now has less than 19$ of silver in it. so unless it it is a coin AU or better all you get is silver when sold or a rare date/mint mark.
i am into howheels and that marked the last 5 years was way down and past 2 months all the cars worth having are way up up so much i wander why anyone would buy them and they are.
i do know barbie and teddy bear markets are way down like so low you can get a 300$ bear now for 30$ no one buying barbies at all the last 4 years.
i bet we all are in some hobbies and we know what is going up or down.
if u like trains now is time to buy them there that low.
