Probably close to 350 million guns in the country. Biggest stock for decades has been gun sales. Women have been buying them like crazy for self defense. Most all gun sales recently have been for protection. PEOPLE will not just hand them over. I would be willing to bet in OZ land there are a gazillion guns buried in culverts and PVC pipe all over the country. People are not dumb at least those with enough brain to know why they want us disarmed.
