Truly a gentleman and man of the people Alan sat in with many of my local bands (East Seattle area) over the last several decades that he and I resided there. Always wanted to play Yes material with him (Prog Rock was my specialty on keys) but never got the chance. Still he was always friendly and unassuming.

I saw YES around 1973. Terrible sound in the San Diego Sports Arena, otherwise I liked their music.

RIP he was a special talent so was Yes.

Not a long end of life but we have to keep perspective, 67 was the average age of death for an American just 40 years ago. It is now 74. Anything past 55 is a gift.

Alan White is one of my all time favorite drummers, totally legendary solid as a rock groove master, especially what he did with Trevor Rabin's Yes, though he was probably vaxxed.
