I don't think that we should insist that teachers that aren't comfortable with it are armed. There should be a middle ground where the teachers that served in the military first, and/or are comfortable with weapons, are allowed to carry.

Interesting side note - I looked up the VA Tech teacher who was killed getting his students out in 2007, thinking he might be ex-military. He wasn't, he was apparently a Romanian Israeli. Narrow bridge and all with those folks, I guess.
