There are literally zero games on the PS5 I want to play

I reinstalled factorio on PC with a modpack.
Probably will take me 100 hours+ and weeks to complete.

I'm not that into it. I just want to plug and play. Computer gaming is levels above what I'm interested in.

On the rush for more and more graphix and other technology they forgot the main purpose of a game is to have fun.

When i get bored of new games i have old favorite 16bit games from snes and nes ps1 etc.

I haven't owned a console since PS2, but I thought Ghost of Tsushima looked like a cool game for PS5.

Ghost of tsushima is pretty good. There's also Legends multi-player mode. It's simple enough to catch on quick, but not so easy that you get bored right away. However they've stopped tuning the dynamics so the game is in its final state.

Get a sports team for that. Gaming should be for fun, not something to stake pride on. Pride is too important for wellbeing in life, it shouldn't go wasted on something so trivial as holographic badges and virtual checklists.

Being a dedicated gamer isn't a win unless that dedication is gaining you something in life. If it gets you girls, if you get paid to play, please a wide audience with content, or at least have a lot of fun with it, you are gaining something.

If gaming itself is your point of pride you need to go deeper into what pride is for you and find the reason why you waste an inherently social dynamic on something that doesn't need it.

If you're going to compete, compete for something meaningful.

Gran Turismo sucked on PS1, one minute to load or save your game! The game was awesome, but looking back at PS1 games emulated on the PS3 made me think the 90s was the dark ages of Gaming on Console. If you had anything but a budget PC, you would make fun of console peasants for decades.

But the new consoles do naughty stuff to comparably priced PCs...

My favourite game was on the PS3 - Tiger Woods, forget which year but it was the only good Tiger Woods game in the series. It was perfect. I used to love having a few hits when I was stoned.
