I'll put it this way. Fauci lied to congress (and got caught lying) about the US engaging in gain of function research that it outsourced to China because such research was illegal and more, not funded in the United States.

Gain of function means enhancing a pathogen so that the pathogen can jump species and infect humans. IOWs a bio weapon.

In other words, the US was and likely still is engaged in bio weapons development. That's hardly debatable and from a military point of view understandable.

What is not understandable is why the US government was engaged in gain of function research on Covid 19 that was used to shut down the world economy and the US economy while making billions for Big Pharm and while force vaccinating by mandate tens of millions of Americans now doomed to early death and vaxx injury.

No, that is not understandable. That's highly suspect.

Its seems to me if a large part of the America public suspects the US government of weaponizing Covid to gain political power, push a depopulation agenda and concede national sovereignty to World government, its hardly beyond suspicion that the same gain of function research was being done by and funded by the US in the Ukraine.

The Biden administration is now using weaponize pandemic fear to concede American national sovereignty to the World Health Organization.

How does that play in no evidence horse shit? Plenty of evidence for these bio weapons labs in Ukraine without even looking at the Russian claim.
