The successful people in the business of religion all say they deserve their wealth because it is God's way of rewarding them for spreading the word of God. But the corruption is not one sided. Most of the followers are equally to blame for making religion into a huge highly profitable industry. Do the followers truly believe we all should treat each other better to make this world a better place, or do they expect a personal reward from God for their devotion. At our low state of consciousness it is good to keep in mind that organized crime and politicians will have their hands in any businesses that generate huge tax free profits. Sad that the pure benevolent teachings of God have been corrupted again by human greed. |
