Acetaminophen (Tylenol) blunts empathy
Acetaminophen – a potent physical painkiller that also reduces empathy for other people’s suffering – blunts physical and social pain by reducing activation in brain areas (i.e. anterior insula and anterior cingulate) thought to be related to emotional awareness and motivation

Potentially useful information. In a real war, empathy for the enemy is the biggest factor that soldiers have to move past, to become effective killers.

This might help a few people, if the war comes here.

Also, when a break-up happens? No use feeling bad for the other person, right?

Re: Acetaminophen (Tylenol) blunts empathy
This explains all the school shootings. Americans have been getting drugged with pharma for a long time and it’s destroying everything and everyone. Some people are waking up and using herbs like cannabis instead that heal and increase connection to God which expands emotional depth but the people stuck on junk food and pain pills and coffee and other vices are the monsters who snap at any moment. They’re a danger to society.

Acetaminophen use is going down, so likely not the culprit here.

For mass shooters, look to SRI drugs, instead?

Acetaminophen is added to almost every OTC form of cold and sinus med now.

It's the first recommendation for fever/teething infants.

They push it early and often as a 'safe' alternative to aspirin.

I went to school with one who would take about 10 pills a day for pain issues. That person ended up turning into a robot with no more emotions or concern for others around him, no joke.

Tylenol without codeine does NOT block pain, it never worked for us at all. Ibprofen works for pain, headaches, inflammation and fever. That is their nu. 1 lie.

I dont take anything anymore. After the vaccine thing, I dont trust anything. They WILL keep working to find ways to get that poison in us all.

Re: Acetaminophen (Tylenol) blunts empathy
From your link, it specifically targets 'positive empathy'. To me, this sounds like it causes 'depression'.

"Experiencing and expressing positive empathy for other people’s good fortunes have striking personal and interpersonal benefits (Morelli et al., 2015). A substantial amount of research shows that understanding and sharing in other people’s pleasurable experiences foster psychological health, interpersonal trust, intimacy, and a prosocial orientation, both for the source and the recipient of positive empathy (Smith et al., 1989; Gable et al., 2006; Sallquist et al., 2009; Reis et al., 2010; Morelli et al., 2015; Andreychik and Lewis, 2017). Despite this host of findings on the psychological and relational benefits of positive empathy, however, our understanding of the physiological bases of positive empathy remains limited."

OMG, this is such a lie...and actually, it's making me wonder about something. You know how everything they tell us, the truth is usually the exact opposite of what they're saying? I've been taking Tylenol Extra Strength ALL MY LIFE, way more than I should, and all my life I've been a cryer. I cry at the drop of a hat over anything even slightly sad and ESPECIALLY over OTHER people's suffering. What I do for a living is all about other's people's problems and I'm crying right along with them all the time. It's exhausting. Now I'm actually wondering if it's the Tylenol!
It's all fun & games until the Dogman stands up

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy Shit! What a ride!"

In times of trouble, I ask myself, "What would Sarah Conner do?"

That is true.
It doesn’t work well for pain at all.
Ibuprofen works good for headache and toothache better than opiates.

Tylenol also damages your liver.
It is very toxic.
Liver failure due to Tylenol is the most painful thing you could ever think of.
If you live that is.
Tylenol has killed many.
It is neither safe or effective.

Stay away from Tylenol all together.
