Most of the cops were likely told it was a drill ... and it was.

I know for most this won't seem like a workable option, but people need to ditch the old society and get into parallel societies, the more remote the better.

Homeschool your kids, have at least one parent if not an entire extended family on your "compound". Stop giving your kids to the state to be babysat, indoctrinated and obviously not protected. Protect and educate them yourself. Forget preparation for "college"...everything you've known in the past is rapidly changing and will not be there in the very near future.

We are in a monumental transition period. Recognize it.

Why did the cops stand with their thumb up their ASS for almost an hour allowing a monster to slaughter the innocent.

FIRE THEM ALL and charge them with aiding and abetting.

THIS HORROR they ALLOWED to happen is unconscionable. HOW DARE they call themselves law enforcement, they arrested parents trying to get to their children to save them. The cops are as guilty as the monster.

Think about it, if you commit a minor traffic infraction and the cops try to pull you over and you don't stop, but instead RUN, well all hell breaks out. The whole Calvary comes out in pursuit and it often ends up in the cops slaughtering you for your failure to comply.

But when innocents are being slaughtered they stand down and allow this horror??

Broken system, by design of course. When will someone with common sense look at this crap and call it out for the madness it is and correct it?

The solution is indeed Sharpshooters, preferably ex-military with kills on their record and who have a child attending the school they guard.

The politicians will never go for this though, because then they will lose the opportunity to try to take the
country’s guns. There are 50 million solutions other than taking away law abiding citizens guns, but they won’t go there for this reason.

Unfortunately this incident will make most PD to prepare even more with more military approach, training, weapons, etc.

I don't know- it's an awful lot of detail for a young one who was terrified. I must admit that when I watched it was one CNN reporter relaying detail to another CNN reporter I had to question the story. And a young girl rubbing her bestie's blood all over herself is smart, something I would have told my kids to do besides hiding under a dead body.

BUT- I feel as if the story is embellished or not true. IF this happened to my child a reporter is not who I would allow her to speak to. Period. I would be dragging her out of there and not sure I'd have her attending a vigil the day after her terrifying experience.

Am I the only person that questions this story?

Why would they send emails? Seems there would be a better way to alert them like an alarm. I mean, are they checking their emails continuously or teaching?
I question them watching a movie, but end of they school year they are finished with lessons and classroom work and making their required days until summer break. Also seems Lilo and Stitch is a little immature for 11 year olds. But then again, there aren't a lot if choices acceptable for elementary school students.

Reason is 2 fold

1. Media and Govt want to disarm citizens and by making these instances lead the news cycle they hope to garner support to remove the 2nd amendment.

2. The bigger reason, mental institutions are no longer funded. The insane roam freely and occasionally the broken mind acts out in this manner.

Know this, more gun laws and the removal of 2nd amendment doesn't fix this. Criminals will always be able to obtain guns.

Occasionally during various attempted fuckery that has went down here in Utah an off duty cop has been the one to smoke the dipshit.

But even when it's an odd duty they're operating in a civilian capacity at the time they end the situation.

The best time to deal with a rapidly deteriorating and on it's way to fucked up situation is RIGHT NOW.

Nothing will get better if you just wait for the rightful authorities to come handle it for you!

Hell the uvalde situation proves that 7 or 8 times over in itself!!

The "bortac officer" who actually finally went in and KILLED THE SHOOTER was getting a haircut when the incident started to go bad, borrowed HIS BARBER'S SHOTGUN, and very likely could have saved so many more children if the actual on duty cops on the scene had let him go in sooner!

The "hero cop" who took the shooter down wasn't even on duty and had to fight those who were on duty to be allowed to go in.

Fuck letting anyone make this incident about gun control!

it basically stands for to protect and serve the law and order of the united states and the jurisdiction they are to serve, to distribute punishment and arrests for crimes only not save or help anyone ever, the only 'help' you might get is an incidental thing from distributing punishment to a 'criminal'

it is 100000% not a police officers job to risk his life, or protect others, there are ALWAYS rules in police departments AGAINST HELPING PEOPLE. if you are an officer and you 'try to help' you can be held responsible/sued for a death if attempting even CPR on a drowning child even if trained to do it medically. anyone saying police are to help save anyone is actually considered stupid especially by the police.
