They showed about four static photos and no video. this poster said this: I'm no scientist, or hamster expert, but I was under the impression that Syrian hamsters are strictly solitary creatures and will fight to the death if caged together. Then the scientists were surprised when the hamsters fought? Maybe they should have researched hamsters before they started meddling. Think about it. Wouldn't they want to 'prove' the crisper tech worked with a video? |

(those are the exact types who set up the Communist Economic and Government system in the USSR and tried to in other places such as Cuba, Venezuela etc.) Well duh ... those of us in the REAL WORLD knew that long ago. Academic Researchers don't know 1% of what they "think" they know ... and those politicians who impose government controls based upon Academics' theories know even less. (ie: Justin Trudeau, Xi and the Chinese lockdowns, etc. etc.) (Western style) Capitalism is failing my friend. Capitalism is becoming a monopoly, an oligarchy and destroying state sovereignity. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83460297 United States 05/28/2022 06:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | These hamsters are one of the most solitary animals in the wild, making them equally territorial. That means they should always be housed alone as pets. Sometimes young hamsters tolerate cage mates for a little while. But as they mature, there's a good chance they'll become aggressive, even fighting to the death. It's also best to keep any other household pets away from your hamster, as they could hurt each other. [link to www.thesprucepets.com (secure)] ‘We anticipated that if we eliminated vasopressin activity, we would reduce both aggression and social communication. |
