They tried to censor us

"They" tried to silence us. They tried to take away our voice and our right to speak freely. And they did a pretty good job at this.

Then the dam broke and once again the people had a voice and filled the air with things "they" didn't want mentioned.

So they decided to force their hand by claiming the things that were unmentionable, were nothing but lies and disinformation. They tried to install a "ministry of truth" but this was a complete failure before even getting off the ground this goal fizzled away.

"Ok," they said, "they want free speech.... then let them have it." And they waited for a crisis/ tragedy (which they just guessed one would occur soon, right?) and when one did occur, they filled the air with lies and falsehoods so horrible and shocking that the people were outraged at what they were being told.

"Well,well,well," they said, smirking to themselves, "I bet you all wish you had a ministry of truth now don't you?" The people had lost all trust in the medias and no longer were going to fall for the tricks being played by "them".

"Good," they say, "now nobody will believe it when it gets real around here either."
