I have seen many dogs off their leash. Ex, it's not uncommon for a dog to escape from a caged in area. That's no reason to shoot them on sight.

Just because protocol tells an officer that they can shoot the dog, does not mean that they should. Police like these take the human element out of law enforcement.

I had a disturbing situation with a pitbull on my property recently.


A week ago a pit bull charged into my yard I armed myself with a doggie treat and became best friends with him until his owner came, thanked me for being kind to his family and they left happy.

Blue county, Michigan is actually a red State, but these days red counties stuff ballot boxes to make Red States look Blue.

It's interesting in the last election I saw very few Biden signs in Wayne county, but Trump signs were everywhere. Even most local union members voted for Trump because of the shit-show Biden had with one UAW worker about guns.

I got a true story to share. My dad was a cop for 25 years, and one time he was chasing someone who just burglarized a house through some people's yards. Before he knew it (he wouldn't typically jump into peoples back yards) he was in someones backyard and a giant ass great dane was barking and running towards him.

He pulled his taser saying later "I was not about to shoot someone's dog, especially when I jumped into their yard."

Well as it turns out he didn't even want to tase it, as it charged him, jumped, and firmly planted its front paws on his chest and began licking his face.

At that point he gave up the chase, called it in, and pet the dog for a minute. Also left a note on the owners door explaining what had happened.
