I've Never Learned Anything from a Teacher

One day each term, my Calculus professor would take his class out into the field and teach them how to throw a boomerang.

As Confucius says “Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.”

I realized in the 3 & 4th grade how stupid and screwed up my entire family… and neighbors were. I just compared myself and them to my better classmates happy families.

Immediately I decided to never take my family’s advice, but to look for strangers instead. I also discovered the library and started reading like mad. To escape mentality.

Total strangers influenced my life more than any teacher or family members. The had totally different experience, knowledge and values.

People get trapped belonging and being loyal to clicks, family, churches, etc,


For any question, problem you could force yourself to come up with 10-30 different answers, solutions or variations.

The average Moron jumps and locks in on the 1st simple, easy, cheap answer and wonders why they have such a damn screwed up life!

They are reacting and lazy mentally. Living totally out of Habit. Humans have zero instinct. My German Shepard are smarter than most damn people.

Thinking Creatively is the hardest and most important thing you can do to improve your life.

The 1st step to learning is being Discomfortable.

As long as one is comfortable, one has little to no motivation to take risk of discomfort, frustration and failure to learn and improve.

It is that damn simple !

Experiment with everything. Not everything is damn life and death.

I was a pilot for 30 years and one still had to take calculated risk to improve and survive.

Playing it safe in life is Not Safe.

1 thing everyone needs to learn is that a graduation diploma does not mean you know a damn thing.

The school of Hard Knocks is about to teach you a few rememberable moments!

You must be one of these POS teachers! Most are there for the paycheck and could give a fuck about the students.

I think I'm making the exact opposite point.

There is much to observe about mathematical function in the behavior of a boomerang.

But I went to a very unusual school.

I had some really great teachers, not all, but some..

Almost 50 years later I still remember them well.. The influence they had on my future learning.

Not sure if I was just lucky or maybe so long ago it was all different. I am leaning to the latter.
