BOTS have taken over the internet

So I was reading the other day about the elon musk buyout of twitter, and he recently said he was going to purge a lot of the accounts on twitter because they were like 90% bots, or fake accounts.

There are plenty of articles, take your pick, that you can look up and lots of people have been saying this for years. It's not just twitter, it's practically everywhere.

I am really frustrated by all of this, and it seems almost no one ever really talks about it. These bots almost seem human, are very adept at quickly registering for accounts on whichever forum or social media site, and some of them apparently know how to create their own pictures and their own screen names.

It gets really annoying, because it's constant, they harass you, they intimidate you, and they sometimes seem to follow you.

I've had many encounters with these bots and I just getting tired of it.

Has anyone here had a bad experience with these bots? If so feel free to explain your story.
