Re: ‘Epidemic of Hate’ – Kamala Harris Slams Americans at Buffalo Shooting Victim Funeral (VIDEO)
I think OP was taking an easy opportunity to point out black on black crime as a way of refuting Kamala's vicious and racist comments. They need to be refuted, but I don't think OP did it the right way, with all respect.

There is zero collective racial responsibility. Black people are not responsible for what other black people do. Nor whites, for what other white people do, or whites for what black people do, etc. Each person is individually responsible for their actions, unless there's a very clear instance of coercion or maybe other direct and proximate damage.

Allowing in the idea of collective responsibility is a trap. Down that road is "equity" and racial transfer payments, and if it comes to that, I'll find another place to live in such a way that I will not be contributing to such a transfer. If they're not willing to join the system on the same terms as everyone else, we should let the system collapse before letting them take a racial bounty from it.

Take accountability bro. Dont be like us darkies.
Making a plan to go kill a bunch of people specifically because of their race could reasonably spawn a statement like, “culture of hate”

No idea what youre talking about with the black guy kills white people=whites caused it. Nobody reasonable ever said that.

Agree theres a gun control initiative with a lot of these. Not much to do with race or “sex” though.

What exactly do you wanna hear about black people killing black people?
Most of these happen in poor neighborhoods which, in a lot of cases, are predominantly black. Itd be more noteworthy if gangsters left their areas to go kill random people like this white kid did. Oddly enough, most actual gamgsters (not kids playing gangster) have a code of ethics of sorts that prevents them from killing non-affiliated people.

I know you think it’s a black problem, because thats most of what you see. But I bet if you moved your family to one of these bad neighborhoods and went to jail and left your wife to work some deadend job and raise your kids, it’d more often be the streets raising your kids and theyd be doing the same stuff.
Your thought after reading that was, “thatd never be me and my family though, I’d never let that happen”. This is a fair thought, and it would also never be me. But dont make the mistake of thinking its because youre white and we’re black.
Does environment have an effect on humans? Yes, 100%. Theres actual studies confirming this. Are people still ultimately responsible for their actions. Yes, 100%. I’d wish any killer of any race to be in jail right next to your white brother that shot up this supermarket.

We have no accountability at all, no blame. It's not our fault at all, even 0.00001%.

That was more of a joking statement, because I thought his post was funny. But there are some cultural issues that do lead to these things. Look at the dude a few posts up that called me a pathetic mouthbreather because he didnt like my post. He’s never seen me breathe, and nothing i’ve said here has been pathetic, its just the hate hes been laced with in life so far. With that said, you could probably raise that up to like a 0.001 for cultural failure. His parents want to blame it on covid isolation! But OP wants answers for black people killing black people as if that has much to do with anyone but the individuals involved. Thats what I was poking fun at. As I said at the end of my original post: everyone is ultimately responsible for their actions. I do realize that your main goal was to find a logic hole to poke in my post, and not to discuss, so no need to acknowledge that part.

No, my main goal was to dismiss the whole idea of collective racial responsibility. I have no responsibility, none, zero, not even 0.000001% (I added another zero!)

I am willing to discuss and defend my position that there is no responsibility at all based on having the same race as the offender. It is not a discussion about how much, it is a statement that the amount is exactly zero.

Makes sense to have commented that under his post about crickets after black on black crimes then, since his post was closer to the top, right? So you probably saw that first, right? Shits got nothing to do with anyone but the killer and killed, right?
Overall, I agree with your viewpoint. But people on this site have a way of only seeing what they wanna see. You as an idividual probably do have zero accountability in this stuff, just as black people killing black people (or anyone killing anyone) has zero to do with me. But youre foolish if you think that cultural norms and beliefs dont fuel these things. There are dozens-hundreds of people on here that literally hate black people and go out of their way to complain about us as often as possible. And if youve ever played any online video game, you’d know there are a scary amount of white kids that have very strong feelings about black people that probably live in a community with ‘not even 0.00000001%’ black people. All the same, there are many celebrities/individuals in the black communities that encourage violence and gang life.

These things do have an affect on the people around us, and if you care enough to come into a post about this subject, you should care enough to wanna be the difference in your culture/community. Thats where that very small percent of accountability comes into play.

It makes a difference, in the same sense that a butterfly flapping its wings can cause a hurricane on a different continent a week later. Everything is connected if you allow enough degrees of indirection. Or, did that butterfly prevent a hurricane on some third continent by flapping its wings?

You don't know which way things are even affected. Maybe whites hurt blacks, maybe whites help blacks, probably some of both. Overall I don't see blacks wanting to move from here to all-black societies in any numbers, so I'd say the balance is probably toward "help".

I don't wanna be the difference if I don't know what I'm changing. Whenever I would hear "make a difference", and I heard that a lot 20 or 30 years ago, I would ask "how do I have confidence that it would be a difference for the better?"

So, I'll be conservative and say 0%. I could be more aggressive, but nah.

I wonder what the potentially negative difference youre imagining is?
And for a lot of us, it’s because we dont make life changes based on race. I dont wanna go to Russia either, but not because it’s filled with whites/or lacking blacks. The same way you havent left america to the natives and went back to europe, probably because theres nothing there for you, theres nothing for me in africa. I’d rather stay in Japan forever (not because theres no white people), but my family is in america, so eventually I’ll probably return.
