*Updated Title* -Biden's Energy Secretary Lies Like A Rug When Asked About High Gas Prices!! | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 83455109 United States 05/30/2022 03:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yea, she didn't snap as much as she did a typical sociopathic liberal/leftwing routine. She did a "progressive" tap dance by blaming Putin for today's high gas prices. She didn't lay blame at the feet of greedy, unethical, mean-hearted liberals similar to her. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82923655 Well, they certainly don't seem willing to take a look at what Blackrock is doing. Instead they will point the finger at Putin, as they continue to choke this country off for its enemies, in deliberate fashion. Yet, some people will piss and moan about the way this congressman spoke to the lady, likening it to Trump's mean Tweets. If anything these people are too respectful to people who are intent using their stolen power to do significant damage to the United States and its general welfare and national security. Sitting there and treating this situation like business as usual when dealing with people who stole power and are taking a wrecking ball to America, telling you that they can "taste (sniff) your pain is what's insane. The left seems to be remarkable at dragging people down to their level of insanity, if by nothing else, getting their political opponents to act like it is a matter of normalcy to treat traitors as equal partners in running this country, deserving of one iota of respect. Fuck Joe Biden and all the members of his so-called "administration." |

I ran across a reciept for gas a couple days ago and it was dated summer of 2020. It was $1.29 a gallon. Let that sink in. Shitpants pedojoe and energy secretary are CRIMINALS, ILLEGITIMATE TRAITOROUS SCUM and stinkin commies. |

Our DOWNFALL began LONG AGO, with our MORAL COLLAPSE, and we are so far in debt we will NEVER recover, but our imminent DEMISE started with the internal COMMUNIST OVERTHROW of the US FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, in the 2020 election. The vermin who head up the OCCUPATION FORCES in the White House and Congress should be taken out and EXECUTED as ENEMY COMBATANTS, but who would do it? The US Military was COMPLICIT in our OVERTHROW by the GLOBALISTS. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79844162 United States 05/30/2022 07:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is impressive that the US "Energy Secretary" can stand there with a straight face and claim that Russia is the primary problem in terms of affordable energy. Let me straighten it out for her: All those "record profits" people go on about have to be reinvested in future exploration and production. You know what happens if you move a large percentage of those profits (as well as a MASSIVE amount of investment capital) into building windmills and solar panels, and batteries instead of conventional oil and gas exploration and production? Precisely what we are experiencing right now. It costs more than it ever has (joule for joule) to get hydrocarbon resources out of the ground and to market. It has only gotten more expensive as time has gone on. We can't print our way out of this problem. It's not economical, it's geological. A lot of people will resist recognizing the situation (or admitting they understand the problem) to keep the masses guessing if legislators can make liquid fuel cheaper in any sort of meaningful way. They can't. Is there energy out there? YES. Most of what's been discovered in the last decade or so will stay subsurface while crude oil is below $500bbl or so. Why do they hold those fed leases that aren't profitable in this price environment. Cause they know that as the price rises to squelch off demand (so the system doesn't break) those leases will start to become profitable. Just not quite yet. Commercial air travel is on the way out. The title "driver" is about to be a LOT more coveted. I just hope the groceries keep making it to the store or we're in trouble. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79844162 United States 05/30/2022 08:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Can't blame VLAD for this anymore. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80418997 That jig is up. Joe ADMITTED IN TAIWAN this is part of the PLAN. The way its gonna BE. SUFFER SUFFER SUFFER!!!! Some will make it. Most will not. Welcome to the new age. Blaming the Russia/Ukraine static for the increase in energy prices is to not understand (or be lying about) the problem. It's easy. Go to your favorite financial website and look at the graph for WTI or Brent crude oil. Back it out as far as it will go. The most recent run-up started in Jan '20, but the problem has been getting worse on and off since '04. We've been in the process of "struggling" to keep prices in check for two decades. It costs more and more each year to bring product to market while still generating free cash flow and keeping investors. If you imagine a graph with the y axis as time and the x axis as price. One line is the price energy companies need to stay in business, and the other line is the price consumers can afford to pay without wrecking the economy. For a long time there was a "gap" where the price could fluctuate, but as long as it stayed in the "gap" the economy could still function. As time went on that "gap" got smaller and smaller. In my estimation around '05 it became undeniable there was a pending problem. The "'08 housing crisis" was designed specifically to reduce liquid fuel demand for a while to give them time to figure something out. The covid lockdowns were implemented for the exact same reason. Now that "gap" is gone. Those lines on the graph have crossed. It now costs more for the energy companies to get the product to market than the "consumers" can afford to pay. I don't anticipate the general populace to be satisfied with their investment in windmills, solar, and batteries in place of conventional energy (liquid hydrocarbons). But we'll see. |

So yes, they can blame it on Ukraine and Russia. Only gonna get worse when winter comes... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30055205 It'll be interesting to see how people react to being cold. Anonymous Coward User ID: 79844162 United States 05/30/2022 08:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Much of the Electricity is the US is currently generated by burning Natural Gas. Much of that Natural Gas was from Fracking. Biden Banned Fracking and the cost of electricity will go through the roof over the next 6 months. Her lie will not age well. I've been anticipating electricity price increases since all the "go electric/ev" static started. For the exact reason you've pointed out. Most people won't have the money to charge an ev once this all winds down. They just need your investment capital to build out the infrastructure for THEM. Can't afford to charge your ev? Oh well. More open chargers for THEM. |
