Besides…absolutely NONE of the Cold War and immediate post-Cold War examples and playbooks for dealing with Russia are even the least bit relevant any longer. Not since China became an economy power AND trading partner with Russia. The days of bullying and forceful coercion (economic or otherwise) by the West are over. Until the US and the UK can figure this much out, we’ll continue to suffer due to bad policy.
